Synopsis

Restless, Alexis Davenport was feeling as if there were something missing in her life, that there was more to be experienced. Just once in her life she’d like to discover what it is that keeps plaguing her.

Something always seemed just out of reach so she made plans, plans which left her past behind, the only solution she could come up with.

Unwavering in her decision to live her life the way she wants, she stands her ground against family and friends, breaks her engagement and takes off for the sunny state of Florida, where she plunges headlong into living in a small coastal town—and discovers there are more to local legends than just talk.
